Welcome to Forsbacka Mansion

Forsbacka Mansion
Forsbacka Mansion was built 1777 when Johan Magnus af Nordin was bruks squire. In the 1820s the masion was rebuilt.
For many years the Nordisk Museum kept Hedvig Ulfsparres textile collection there.
For a few years ago the Masion was rebuilt and repaired both the inside and the outside. Today they are very charming rental apartments.
Bruksoffice
The building was built in the 1850s and was extended in 1911. In 1917, the building once again changed its appearence. The office was rebuilt to be used as apartments, in which they are today.
The old waterpump
In front of the Mansion, near the damn hatch stands the old waterpump.

The stables
In connection to the Mansion is even a long ago stable that was built of clinkstone in 1790.

Orange house
The building behind the Mansion was used as Forsbacka´s church from 1840 to 1965 when the new church was consecrated. In between times it was even used as a school local.
